In August 2021, NUS Global launched the Travel Preparatory Course (TPC) to prepare students for international travel and mitigating risks while abroad.

Students are required to complete the course to participate in any NUS-endorsed study abroad programmes, including NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) and overseas internships.
​
Pre- and post- course surveys conducted between August and November 2021 demonstrated a marked increase (from 25% to ~80%) in students’ confidence in pursuing overseas programmes after they completed the course.

International SOS
NUS Global also works with International SOS to provide NUS students with on-the-go travel assistance through the International SOS app, ensuring that students are well supported in any emergency while they are abroad.
